The US Domestic Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for positions within the United States. This role involves sourcing, screening, and recruiting qualified candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating the hiring process. The US Domestic Recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers to ensure alignment with staffing needs and contribute to the organizationโs talent acquisition strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Strategy:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various roles within the organization.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and create effective job descriptions.
- Candidate Sourcing:
- Utilize various recruiting channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to identify potential candidates.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Screening and Interviewing:
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidatesโ skills, experience, and fit for the role.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Candidate Management:
- Guide candidates through the hiring process, providing updates and feedback.
- Address candidate inquiries and manage expectations throughout the recruitment process.
- Hiring and Onboarding:
- Extend job offers and negotiate terms with selected candidates.
- Facilitate the onboarding process, including background checks, drug screenings, and new hire paperwork.
- Reporting and Metrics:
- Track and report on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality.
- Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external recruiting partners.
- Act as a liaison between candidates and the organization, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role, with a focus on domestic recruitment.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of recruitment and selection processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to assess candidates’ skills and fit for various roles.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
